Canceling/Deactivating Scheduled Future Payments

You can cancel or deactivate a scheduled future payment before the payment is posted. Scheduled future payments can be one-time payments that you scheduled for future dates or they can be recurring payments that you scheduled using the Register for Recurring Payments feature.

Use the cancel feature when you want to remove all scheduled future balances of a particular balance type. Use the deactivate feature when you want to remove one payment from a recurring payment schedule. When you deactivate a recurring payment, you have the ability to activate it again.

To cancel or deactivate a scheduled future payment:

1. Log on to SigmaPay.
2. From the link menu, click Scheduled Future Payments.
3. Click the Account number.

The Edit Future Payment screen appears.

4. Cancel or deactivate balances as needed:

• To cancel all scheduled future payments for all balance types, click Cancel ALL Schedule.
• To cancel all scheduled future payments for a particular balance type, select the balance type from the Balance Description field. Then, click Cancel Schedule.
• To deactivate a particular payment, click the Deactivate link for the scheduled future payment. (If you want this payment to post as scheduled, click Activate.)
